Background
Golden Circle began exporting its products to key markets in Europe from soon after the establishment of the company in 1947. This has developed in to a $40 million export business, representing about 10% of company revenue. Golden Circle places strategic importance on increasing its international sales.
What We Sell
Golden Circle exports a wide range of beverages, canned fruit, canned vegetables, jams, baby food and also fresh citrus fruit. Among this large range of over 600 individual products, the core export ranges of packaged goods are:

- Infant Food and Drink
Golden Circle also exports fresh citrus fruit.
Where We Sell
Today the key overseas sales regions for Golden Circle are North Asia, South East Asia, South Pacific and Middle East. The largest single overseas market is New Zealand. This is managed by the Golden Circle New Zealand sales office in Wellington New Zealand. Outside Australia and New Zealand the key export markets are:

- Other Pacific nations including (Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Tonga and Wallis Islands)
Golden Circle exports to over 30 countries.
Note: * Sales to America are made up of bulk shipments of fresh citrus fruit, not packaged goods.

Quality Assurance
Food and agricultural products from Australia are renowned for being produced from a clean and green environment with low levels of chemical residue, heavy metals and other contaminants.
Golden Circle Limited is accredited under the Safe Quality Food (SQF2000) quality assurance program. This program brings together international food safety and quality standards required for international trade (including CODEX and HACCP).
Channels
Golden Circle sells in overseas markets through both the major food distribution channels, being Grocery (including department stores, hypermarkets, supermarkets, independent retailers and convenience stores) and Foodservice (including hotels, restaurants and airlines).
Intermediaries
Golden Circle sells in many cases directly to large international retailers and foodservice customers, but also utilises intermediaries such as in-market distributors and Australian-based export merchants.
Facilities and Locations
Golden Circle's main factory and Head Office is located at Northgate, a northern suburb of Brisbane in the state of Queensland. Golden Circle also owns the Original Juice Co. plant at Mill Park, on Melbourne's northern outskirts in the state of Victoria, and a fresh fruit packing operation in Griffith, in the state of New South Wales. Sales offices are located in every Australian state and New Zealand.
